This collection contains various tests from Berea's Mountain Collection of published works on the Appalachian region.
The Berea Collection consists of books, pamphlets and other printed sources dealing with the college and the Berea Community. Included are official publications of the College (i.e. catalogs, reports), College histories and biographies, works of local history, and books written or edited by Berea faculty, staff, and alumni.
This sampling from Berea's Curio collection will primarily contain 19th century works on the anti-slavery movement and Black history. Eventually additional types of material will be added.
The Historical Collections consist of material that document organizations and individuals with local, state, or national significance, but not related either to the Appalachian region or to Berea College.
