Mr. Harold H. Johnston
75 Fulton Street,
New York, N. Y.
Dear Harold:
In writing you to help celebrate the forty-fifth
anniversary of your joining my, then, infant outfit, I have
in mind not only your efficient and loyal services, but also
that you are the oldest friend I have on earth. When a friend-
ship can continue for over sixty years without one single dis-
pute, or even argument, that certainly is something to chortle
about.
So this letter is written with deep appreciation of
your fine qualities and unfailing loyalty, both as a member of
our staff, and as a personal friend.
With real affection, I am,
Very sincerely,
(signed) Alfred M. Best.
President.
